Kaiser Permanente's Rock ’n’ Roll Pasadena Half-Marathon aims to benefit CureMito!

Asian-American hip hop group Far East Movement will headline the finish line concert at the Rose Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 17, following the 13.1  Block Party taking place throughout the streets of Pasadena.

 

Far East Movement will perform their chart-topping hits such as “Like a G6” (see above video) and “Rocketeer” among others. The group’s new album “Dirty Bass” encompasses a futuristic connection between rap, dance, and pop.
 
To date, the album has generated the international hit singles “Live My Life” featuring Justin Bieber and Red Foo of LMFAO, as well as “Turn Up The Love” featuring Cover Drive.

 

“Far East Movement has some of the hottest hip hop songs on the airwaves,” said Event Director Shana Reed. “They will bring the party atmosphere our runners deserve to celebrate the accomplishment of completing 13.1 or 3.1 miles.

In addition to FM’s headlining performance, runners will also enjoy the sounds of live, local bands playing along the course as motivation and entertainment, along with enthusiastic cheerleaders and thousands of spectators. Both races start and finish at the iconic Rose Bowl, and the half-marathon course continues on to pass over the Colorado ["Suicide"] Bridge, through Old Town Pasadena, and around the Brookside Golf Course.
