It's not too late to get to Asia (American style) for an authentic Lunar New Year Festival, the Chinese "Spring Festival," to ring in the Year of the Wood Dragon.

Los Angeles has more Asian dominant communities than Chinatown in DTLA. There's the entire San Gabriel Valley, with little cities like Arcadia (as in Joan of Arcadia) eager to show off their own version of the holiday:
