News of the Day: The Perfection of Wisdom

"Form is emptiness, and the very emptiness is form...there is no form, no sensation, no perception, no formation, no consciousness; no eye, no ear, no tongue, no body, no mind..." -- Prajna Paramita, The Heart [of the Perfection of Wisdom] Sutra" (PDX Yogini). Electric eyeglasses help the blind see
A soldier who lost his vision can read a poster thanks to high-tech glasses that connect to his tongue. How? - Blind musician a savant - Sight-impaired skier - Cure for blindness?

The ranking was compiled by Condé Nast's Portfolio in consultation with a panel of business-school professors. They were asked to "consider each CEO's record of creating or destroying value, innovation, and management skills or lack thereof." Kevin Maney and Liz Gunnison write in their overview that "Warren Buffett may not be much of an innovator, but he is a great philosopher -- the business Buddha. We think that counts." More>>
