June 4th, 2012: Int'l VESAK in Los Angeles

AZUSA, California - Dhammakaya, Thailand's international lay Buddhist meditation movement, is celebrating Vesak in the foothills above Los Angeles and Orange County.
The DIMC (Dhammakaya International Meditation Center) annually makes a strenuous effort to invite Buddhist monks and nuns from every tradition across the Southland.
  
Monastics from Thailand, Tibet, Burma, Nepal, Japan, China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Cambodia, America, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and elsewhere have been invited to participate in free festivities that will include 1,000+ white-clad lay Buddhists.
