Did Alexander Payne molest Rose McGowan?

"I will now make it a mission to expose him": Rose McGowan, 46, blasts filmmaker [and alleged child molester] Alexander Payne, 59, after he denies raping her when she was 15 and says they "went out on a couple dates" after she auditioned for role. When asked to comment about Payne's denial on Friday, McGowan told Variety: "F**k him and his lies." McGowan vowed to "make it a mission to expose" Payne and reiterated her remarks in a social media post. The Oscar-winning director (who worked with Harvey Weinstein) broke his silence on Friday to Deadline, denying sexual assault allegations made on social media last month by McGowan. On August 17, McGowan posted on social media that she had "sexual relations" with Payne when she was an underage teen. The actress, a pioneer of the #MeToo Movement, said she had long regarded it as a "sexual experience" but said that "I now know I was groomed." But Payne claimed he was a college student at the time the alleged encounter took place and that he only met McGowan for the first time years later. Payne also refuted allegations by McGowan that he showed her a "soft-core porn" film he directed for Showtime, saying that he never made a film for the network. The director said that he first met McGowan in 1991 and that they went on a few dates. More
