Strange monk chants The Beatles (video)

The Beatles were such catchy music makers that they influenced nearly everyone (and had many influences), even this Mahayana Buddhist monk who thinks he lives in a golden underwater dojo. His name is Rev. Kossan, Buddhist priest and aspiring chant star with his cover of the Ringo's "Yellow Submarine."

Who are these "Beatles"?
This Buddhist monk must have caught wind of "Breakfast with the Beatles," L.A. version.

Greasers? Original "Cutest Beatle" Pete Best
Four British merry pranksters really knew how to trigger the mainstream media that was just emerging from the conservative 1950s. The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. The group are regarded as the most influential band of all time (Hasted 2017, p. 425). They were integral to the development of 1960s counterculture and pop music's recognition as an art form (Frontani 2007, p. 125). Rooted in beat, skiffle, and 1950s rock 'n roll, their sound incorporated elements of classical music and traditional pop in innovative ways. They later explored musical styles ranging from Hindu Indian music to psychedelia to hard rock. Pioneers in recording, songwriting, and presentation, the Beatles revolutionized many aspects of the music industry and were often publicized as leaders of the era's youth and sociocultural movements.
