ANGER?
There's a reason enlightened Ven. Chah is famous
Thai Theravada Buddhist teacher Ajahn Chah tells this tale:

A woman wanted to know how to deal with anger. When this anger arises, I asked her, "Whose anger is it?" She said it was hers.

Well, if it were really her anger then she should be able to order it to go away, shouldn't she? But it really isn't hers to command.

Ajahn Sumedho, Ajahn Chah (Maha Nikaya)
Holding onto anger as a personal possession will cause suffering.

If anger really belonged to us, it would have to obey us. It doesn't obey us. That means it's only a deception. Don’t fall for it.

Whether the mind is happy or sad, don’t fall for it. It's all a deception.
