Buddhist psychology: How we make our beds

How you make your bed reveals THIS about you
(Therapist Nick Keomahavong, June 16, 2021) A Monk's Perspective: Making our bed is important. As a Buddhist monk, one of the first things we are trained in is the importance of making our beds. The way one makes his or her bed will impact one's habits. Our time in the bedroom makes ups 30% of our daily lives, so what we do in the bedroom will directly impact our behavior outside the bedroom. Here are three scenarios illustrating how one makes the bed and how it translates to the type of habit the bedmaker will cultivate.

Hope this perspective from the lens of a Buddhist monk gives a different perspective into the importance of making the bed. Hope it helps. Enjoy! #monk #buddhism #mentalhealth #monks
