Essence of Mahayana Practice (video)

"The Essence of Mahāyāna Practice" (Part 5 of 6) with Shifu Simplicity
(Buddhist Insights) Ven. Bodhidharma, the great 6th century Chan [jhana meditation] master who began the lineage of Chan practice in China, composed a brief summary of Chan practice in a text called "The Essential Discourse on Entering the Mahāyāna Path by Principle and by Practice," commonly condensed as "The Essence of Mahāyāna Practice."

Over the course of six weeks, Shifu Simplicity (a German Buddhist nun or bhikshuni who trained for over 20 years in Taiwanese Chan Buddhism) is giving a detailed explanation of the meaning and applicability of this profound text. A translation of Ven. Bodhidharma's text may be found here: sunnyvale.ctzen.org (PDF).
