Fact-checking lies of the Bible (TED Talk)

Fact-checking the Bible
(TED Archive, June 6, 2018) In this hilarious talk, David Ellis Dickerson shares his experience writing wholesome Bible trivia for the Emmy-winning TV show American Bible Challenge, a show that split its contestants into teams who answer questions that draw from the Old and New Testaments. Writing these questions was, to say the least, challenging.

TED Archive presents previously unpublished talks from TED conferences. Enjoy this unedited talk by David Ellis Dickerson. Filmed at TEDNYC Idea Search 2018.

NOTE: Comments are disabled on this video. TED made this difficult decision for the TED Archive because TED believes that a well-moderated conversation allows for better commentary from more people and more viewpoints. Studies show that aggressive and hateful comments silence other commenters and drive them away.

Unfortunately, YouTube's comment moderation tools are simply not up to the task of allowing TED to monitor comments on so many videos at once. (TED would love to see this change, YouTube.) So for now, to comment on this talk, please use Facebook, Twitter, or G+ to discuss with networks.
