Hail (snow-like pellets of ice) hit certain parts of Los Angeles County, such as the foothill community of Pasadena, where the city surrounding the Rose Bowl looked like a winter wonderland after a declared heatwave during the buildup to the Super Bowl that saw a large influx of tourists for the Big Game.
