During the late 1800s, a multitude of strange artifacts were unearthed in the state of Michigan. Written in ancient scripts from around the world, they told of a Near Eastern culture living in North America (the future USA) before the alleged arrival of Christopher Columbus and his discovery of this great land.

The Michigan Relics are officially considered one of the most elaborate and extensive pseudo-archeological hoaxes ever perpetrated in American history -- or a true discovery that's too hard to deal with without upsetting many other standard historians and all their work.
