The Enchanted Forest: Trail to the Mansion and Tunnel (updated)
(brotherBvideos) This is the hike to the Enchanted Forest in Altadena, California, just above Pasadena. The Enchanted Forest is a great Los Angeles hike in the foothills above Altadena. Brother B takes one and all on a guided tour through the Angeles National Forest.

Mind your manners. You're on Tongva (Kizh) land.
UPDATE: Feb. 23, 2013: The $5 bill is gone again, and the taker didn't take the time to email me again. Also, people have now tagged the inside of the mine. Due to such disrespect, I will no longer be leaving treasure there.

UPDATE: Jan. 12, 2013: I put another $5 in the tunnel. Whoever took the last one didn't email me. Grrrrrr.

UPDATE: Dec. 8, 2012: I put another $5 in the tunnel, but I put this one way in the back this time. FYI, a homeless man still lives in the first tunnel. Please do not disturb him.

UPDATE: Sept. 29, 2012: I was filming the moon and stars from 2:00-5:30 am. At exactly 3:33 am all the coyotes starting howling. It was the most horrible noise one ever wants to hear in the forest when alone. Lesson learned. Never hike at night alone.

UPDATE: July 7, 2012: As we walked by McNally Tunnel again, that man was still living inside. Everyone, please be careful when crossing the tunnel. This time, we didn't say anything to the man, and he didn't say anything to us. So just LEAVE HIM ALONE please.

UPDATE: June 30, 2012: As we came up to the McNally Tunnel (5:08), my friend looked inside and saw a man living in there. My friend said, "There's a hobo in the tunnel!" He repeated it again. Then we heard a loud bellow, that of a man's with a barrel chest, yelling: "I'm not a 'hobo'!"

We ran as fast as we could and crossed the river. The hobo came out of the cave and yelled, "Say that to my face, you little punk [*ss b*tch]!" Be very careful when you come across this tunnel and please don't call him a "hobo."

It's okay. We own the land now. (Groucho Marx)
UPDATE: April 7, 2012: I put another $5 in the tunnel. Happy hunting, suckers! [You'll be spending more on Lara Bars for caloric energy to get it than it will provide at a value of only 500 pennies.]

UPDATE: March 12t, 2012: The treasure has been found! 😅 Late night Temple City High School adventurers Rudy, Nasser, Joseph, Angel, Kim, and Angela made the journey into the tunnel and came out winners. Congratulations! They were nice enough to email me.

UPDATE: March 3, 2012: The treasure was nowhere to be found. It may have washed away. 😞 So I put another treasure in there. This time I wedged it between rocks. However, the plastic bag is still visible. Happy hunting, dummies! [You'll spend more time looking in cracks than making out with your TCHS date.]
