(Fregend) Jan. 14, 2023. SZA, who allegedly can't sing, has a megahit on her hands about killing her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend. Given the horrific Asian on Asian crimes in Monterey Park and Half Moon Bay, California, falling on the Spring Festival/Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations, a severe faux pas running counter to New Year superstitions and Asian customs.
