Wild Food Foraging Nature Walk, L.A.


WILD FOOD FORAGING AND ETHNO-BOTANICAL WALK
School of Self-Reliance books
Join an approximately 1.5 hour walk to explore the edible, medicinal, and useful qualities of many of the plants found in the urban Los Angeles environment, which has many introduced plants.

Native and invasive (non-native) plants will be seen. This is a leisurely walk with a chance to taste some of the foraged wild plants.

Bring comfortable footwear and drinking water. This class may be credited towards the School of Self-Reliance's Ethnobotany Certificate.

$45 (seniors and students $30). RSVP. This is a unique urban location, a one-acre site in Highland Park, next to Pasadena west of Figueroa Blvd. at 5835 Burwood Ave., Highland Park, 90024 — or call for details.
