My Sleeping Karma: "Moksha"

My Sleeping Karma, Napalm Records, May 14, 2015; Seth Auberon (ed.), Wisdom Quarterly

My Sleeping Karma: "Moksha"
(Napalm Records) Napalm Records (napalmrecordsamerica.com) released My Sleeping Karma on iTunes: smarturl.it/MokshaDL. Be it at live shows or on their albums, Germany's My Sleeping Karma never fail to create unique and hypnotic sounds of epic proportions that are bound to send listeners on deep mental journeys. On their fifth album, Moksha [the Sanskrit term for spiritual liberation], the instrumental groove rockers show their most varied side: waves of blustery riffs embracing fragile melodic lines. Eastern mysticism is front and center -- as it was for Gustav Holst on his early magical Hymns from the Rig Veda -- ghostly sound shivers lead eternal rhythms to new horizons. Yes, the Sanskrit word moksha ("liberation") is abused too often these days, but My Sleeping Karma makes it pure magic. #MySleepingKarma
