Nakba Day (Arabic ذكرى النكبة, Romanized Dhikra an-Nakba, literally "Memory of the Catastrophe") is the day of commemoration for the Nakba, also known as Israel's Catastrophe wrought against the Palestinian.

It is the ongoing destruction of Palestinian society and Palestine (the homeland of the Palestinians) beginning in 1948, turning it into "Israel."

It is the permanent displacement, forced dislocation, eradication, extermination of a majority of the Palestinian people.

It is generally commemorated on May 15th on the Gregorian calendar, the date of the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948, when European Jews decided to do to Middle Easterners what had been done to them by German Nazis and countless other Europeans peoples who hated them and drove them out of their countries.

For Palestinians, it is an annual day of commemoration of forced removal from their land that preceded and followed Israel's establishment [1] as an apartheid "state"
