An Experience of Enlightenment

Anyone who has ever danced or done yoga postures (asanas) has to marvel at the impossibility of Assam's 8-year-old BINITA CHETRY, who blows even jaded judges away with the most flexible dancing audition ever on the show.

It's one thing to be able to bend. It is a whole 'nother to have this much poise, balance, creativity, and élan. Is this what ancient dancers did to bedazzle visitors in far-flung kingdoms?

One is reminded of that strange tale retold by a European after a seance in the book's true story.
