Suicidal Tendencies is an American punk rock crossover thrash metal band formed in 1980 [5] in Venice Beach (Los Angeles), California, by vocalist [wannabee white gang member/bike clubber] Mike Muir.

The band [could be called a one-hit wonder with "Institutionalized" on MTV that] has undergone various lineup changes, with Muir as the only remaining original member. [Got ego?]
Their current lineup includes Muir, guitarists Dean Pleasants and Ben Weinman, bassist Tye Trujillo, and drummer Jay Weinberg.

bassists Louiche Mayorga, Bob Heathcote, Robert Trujillo, Ra Díaz, Josh Paul, and Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner; and
