It's easy to think no Jews are religious about it. It's largely a secular identity, a cultural inheritance, a brand identity, a Zionist outlook, a victim card status, a self-identified choice, a diet, a bid for Tay-Sachs and other incestuous disease states, even a race to some with subraces (like impure-nonwhites the dreaded Mizrahi, Latin Sephardi, and outcaste Ethiopian and Meshuchrarim). Mostly, today, Judaism is just Ashkenazi Europeans clinging to a story, a narrative, a justification for being God's chosen people and the smartest in the world, with completely-unbiased IQs to prove it.

So who are the Hasidim? There are Orthodox Jews, and then there are Ultra-Orthodox Jews.
