Weekend Edition Saturday, April 11, 2009 Human Rights Watch says one of the most dangerous places on earth these days is a tiny sliver of land in Northeastern Sri Lanka.

That's where a Tamil separatist group is holed up, along with tens of thousands of civilians. The LTTE is considered a terrorist group by the U.S. government.
Sri Lanka's foreign minister made the rounds in Washington, saying he thinks the Sri Lankan government will soon defeat the rebels.
