Depression: a psychic view (Edgar Cayce)

() This video segment is excerpted from a lecture given by David McMillin at Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. (Association for Research and Enlightenment) in Virginia Beach, Virginia on July 16, 2001. McMillin explores Edgar Cayce's approach to depression, which America's most famous psychic, the "sleeping prophet," described as pathology within the nervous system. However, Cayce went well beyond the biological dimension of depression -- or melancholy, negativity, self-condemnation, colon toxicity -- to also include the mental and spiritual factors involved.
