Full Moon Eclipse over LA, Occupy Boston

The full moon (damnhot.net), the eclipse (Don Oberbeck/Spaceweather.com), and the Buddha's Earth-witnessing mudra meditation from Borobudur, Indonesia (Macloo)

Griffith Observatory, with the help of the Los Angeles astronomical Society and the Sidewalk Astronomers, provided public viewing of this morning's full lunar eclipse from the Observatory’s lawn and rooftop Zeiss telescope. The CafĂ© at the End of the Universe and the Cosmic Emporium store was open for comfort (and holiday shopping) as was the Vermont Ave. entrance... The Geminid meteor shower reaches its peak during the night and early morning hours Tuesday/Wednesday, December 13/14, possibly making a worthwhile show from 10:00 pm until 3:00 am even from suburban back yards and during the lunar eclipse. Occupy Boston evicted under the eclipse
The Guardian (UK)
Police have evicted Occupy protesters from Boston's Dewey Square, tearing down tents and arresting about 40 people. The raid brought to an end a 10-week demonstration spawned by the Wall Street occupation in New York. Police moved in at about 5:00 am, and the operation lasted less than an hour. A police spokeswoman said the protesters were "very accommodating." Two dozen demonstrators linked arms and sat down in protest before the arrests began. The arrests were for [for any excuse possible] trespassing, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. More
