With all that we see and feel in the world, we want to act to make changes to impact climate change, anti-racism, sexism, homophobia, immigration, elections, wage inequality...
Participants are invited to bring their open hearts and a social problem they are concerned about or working on. Together we will examine how we can bring mindfulness, compassion, and Buddhist teachings (the Dharma) to our social activism. All levels of meditation practice and social activism welcome. No experience is too advanced.
COST: This event is offered on a donation-basis. Donate as you are able. Suggested donation is $30 to pay teachers and cover the cost of the space. But no one is turned away for lack of funds.
