Day of Mindfulness: Energy, Calm, Ease, and Well-Being-- Practicing Mindfulness at Home

The basics of mindfulness meditation are at the core of a mindfulness practice. Our homes offer special opportunities for mindfulness practice both in meditation and in our daily activities.
In this daylong we will meditate; and also we playfully will bring more awareness into our current lives at home: the spaces we occupy; how we check the news; in our relationships; how we eat; and in play.

This daylong is suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators.

Saying Yes to “NO”: Setting Mindful Boundaries (4-Week Workshop)
with Mitra Manesh

Do you often feel angry, resentful, not-represented, rebellious, or reactive in your relationships at home and work? If so, you may be someone who finds it difficult to say no and set healthy boundaries.

Without clarifying and communicating our boundaries in our relationships, we may be leaving the most precious aspects of our life-- our happiness & self-worth-- to the mercy of others.

Saying no at times is a healthy, necessary, and important part of having agency in life. Saying no to something unhelpful can pave the way to saying yes to something helpful. In this class, we will learn how to do this kindly, firmly, and appropriately.

Join us if you’re interested in learning how Saying No, Mindfulness Practices, and Boundary-Setting can create a healthy triangle that honors who you are and communicates to others where your lines are drawn. We will be using mindfulness tools, practices, and principles such as wise questioning, meditation, and awareness to recognize where we are in this context, and how to move forward to a more mindful, boundary-ful, and graceful life.

Good for all levels; the only prerequisite is a desire and willingness to learn to create healthy boundaries at work and at home.
