(MyInnerEye...) Dick plays it straight. He's one of the Smothers Brothers along with mustachioed brother Tom. Here he chats up a flower child from "Flower Land" (Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco). She's a totally groovy and far out hippie chick named "Goldie," sporting a yellow daisy dress as she blows Dick's mind and craniums in the audience. Dick (a.k.a. Richard Smothers) is as straight as Goldie is bent, I to the Q, or maybe she's just a paid actress playing a bit part on TV? The Sixties were wild in Los Angeles and the Bay Area, as we learned from Berkeley in the Sixties.
