Poet Amanda Gorman live at The Moth (video)
The Moth, Moth Radio Hour (TheMoth.org); Dhr. Seven, Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman (of Pres. Biden's inauguration fame) did a grand slam at The Moth. Was she joking? No, she seems to have a real speech impediment, neural processing difficulties, and three book deals. Sometimes it takes adversity to realize our greatness and make sure others notice rather than dismissing us. Have a listen. ROAR: Amanda Gorman is the youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history, as well as an award-winning writer and cum laude graduate of Harvard University, where she studied sociology. She has written for the New York Times and has three books forthcoming with Penguin Random House. The Moth | Storytelling
