Gandharan (Afghan) Buddha
(Morteza Miri, 5/15/19) Afghanistan (a formerly Buddhist land in Central Asia called Gandhara, Bactria, Scythia, Shakya Land, Sakastan, Baluchestan, and No Man's Land) is an ethnically-diverse country.

This video includes some of the well-known ethnic groups of the country. The exact number of ethnic groups in Afghanistan is unknown because there are also smaller groups within each ethnic group.

Just Greek influence on Bactria?
"White" is a social construct. It is built out of the nonsensical idea that Caucasian, which derives from the mountains next to Afghanistan, is the origin of light skin and Iranic/Aryan features.

The mountains divide Europe from Asia. Kalmyks, ethnic Central Asian Buddhists, are on the European side of the divide, but Afghan Land is just another Stan in No Man's Land.
Afghan boy is Pashtun, Aryan/Iranic, with "all-American: looks like he's a Little Leaguer
.
(Wiki) Total population of Afghanistan in 2020 was 39 million. This breaks down by ethnicity. Pashtuns 14 million, Tajiks 10 million, Hazaras (near the Buddhas of Bamiyan) 8 million,  Uzbeks 4 million, Turkmens 1 million, Aimaqs 600,000, Nuristanis 200,000, Balochs 100,000. Numbers approximate. Video made for educational purposes.
