(Fully Human, July 27, 2018) In this discourse from 1981, Western Buddhist monk Ajahn Sumedho (formerly Robert Karr Jackman) was going through some rough times in his early days practicing in Asia as a forest tradition monk in a very rural area. Episodes in his personal life made him let go of his opinions, projections, and illusions.
"That time I decided I would no longer live my life on my own terms, but that I should just let life live itself and be mindful of it."
This segment is taken from a longer talk called "Opinions".
