Why we NEED challenges in life
Here Eckhart Tolle talks about dukkha ("disappointment, suffering, unsatisfactoriness"), meditation, overcoming illusion (maya), a life of growth by setting off on a quest to awaken by meeting the challenges we are presented with. More and more he seems to be realizing that the Buddha was right.

"Once we realize that life is meant to be challenges, challenging, or difficult, once you realize that, then a huge, you become free of the huge illusion that there's something wrong when your life becomes difficult. Ha ha.
"It's because these are all necessary. You need to, you need that. That's the good news or bad news. The world isn't here to make you happy. This is how I put it. The world is NOT here to make you -- this is the human level of this -- it's not here to make you happy. It can't do that, no matter how hard you try. It's here to make you conscious -- by challenging you, by making your life difficult."
