The scary station KPCC (Southern California Public Radio at scpr.org) FM wanted to spook half-baked Los Angeles this Halloween. So it played a compilation show of Terry Gross' Fresh Air interviews with Anthony "Hannibal the Cannibal" Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs) and the far scarier woman who did the voice of the demon Pazuzu in The Exorcist Mercedes McCambridge. She is very scary with chilling control of her vocals.
