Greed, hatred, and delusion = unskillful karma

Everyone who comes into contact with his golden turd rots from the inside, overcome by "greed" and impelled to unskillful deeds.

"Greed" is a popular mistranslation of the Buddhist term lobha (attraction, wanting), which manifests as clinging and all sorts of trouble, namely, bad karma.

Due to this passion -- from liking and preferring to avarice and unbridled greed -- beings get into all sorts of karmic trouble, as it motivates unskillful deeds like killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, and taking drugs.

The Buddha taught the Five Precepts, which is abstaining from these five misdeeds to spare beings from being sucked into lower worlds and terrible situations full of suffering. By temporarily freeing the heart/mind of these, one develops meditation and meritorious deeds leading to calm and liberating insight or wisdom. Seeing things as they really are, one lets go.

In letting go, one is freed from the Wheel of Life and Death. Suffering is ended. And what could have been done was finally done, and there is no more suffering to come.

But letting go will not come about by an act of willpower or fear. It can only come about through insight -- the direct realization of the true nature of things. Once this is seen, one has no interest and effortlessly lets go and abandons clinging. The heart is thus freed.
