World famous meditators Joseph Goldstein, Jack Kornfield, Sharon Salzberg on decades of Dharma practice

(Tricycle) April 21, 2021. Joseph Goldstein, Jack Kornfield, and Sharon Salzberg were among the first Western teachers to bring insight meditation practice to the United States in the 1970s.

Tricycle is an American Buddhist magazine.

In 1976 they co-founded the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, one of the first meditation retreat centers in the Americas.

On the occasion of the center’s 45th anniversary, these three celebrated teachers come together for a live discussion with Tricycle Editor-in-Chief James Shaheen.
