Genocidal onslaught on Gaza shocks conscience of the world, with Abby Martin
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has shocked the conscience of the entire world, with an endless flow of videos and images of Palestinian children cut to pieces by American bombs shot by Israeli jets Israelis deliberately targeted.
- [But it's okay, they're not human. They're "animals." If politician dehumanize Hamas, Gazans, Arabs, Palestinians in general and even Hamas-free West Bankers, why would bloodthirsty Israeli militants and state-sponsored terrorists (members of the world's most moral army that warns people before blowing them up) hold back? With the American War Machine behind this imperial adventure in the Middle East has no reason to stop or even slow down. Give hateful people arms, and this is what they're bound to do with them, all while hatefully speaking of their enemy, the one they're occupying, oppressing, displacing, and dispossessing of their land for their own hopes and dreams of a state where they can be surrounded by countries who will just forgive and forget them for their war crimes.]
The IDF, Israel's army, intends to destroy civilians and whittle away an inconvenient population, so it can steal their land, deprive them of their right of return, and exterminate them, while calling Israel's innocent victims "Nazis."
Despite the explicitly genocidal rhetoric of Israeli officials, Western leaders continue to proclaim their support for Israel’s laughable, euphemistic right to “defend itself,” but by "defend" what is meant is revenge, extermination, dispossession, and anything else it wants to claim it needs to do to advance its sinister plans at the expense of millions of original inhabitants. One is reminded of the USA bulldozing Native Americans into the sea or right to the edge of the West Coast.
Israel's current War on Gaza is different from its past "wars" on Gaza, the West Bank it illegally occupies, and Palestinians wherever it sends them, not only in the level of Israeli aggression, but in the reaction on the street, from the Middle East to the United States.
Israel is losing the narrative war. Most people want to see a ceasefire and tens of thousands have protested across the US to demonstrate their opposition to Biden’s unconditional support for this genocide.
