India and Pakistan: war in Kashmir (cartoon)

Wisdom Quarterly; New York Times (the propaganda paper of record in the USA)
Beautiful Kashmir as seen from the Pakistan side of the LOC (line of control)
(Badmash Comics/Albino Blacksheep) "The Singhsons." Rapes, border incursions, sexism protests, religious strife, pollution, poverty, and now a new low: US-style capitalism. That's India.

Pakistani military officials said the Indian military killed a civilian, the latest in a round of accusations of cross border violations in the disputed region of Kashmir, which the two countries claim in its entirety. Tensions flared over the last week as the relative calm over the Line of Control, the border that divides Kashmir, was broken after each side accused the other of breaking a 2003 cease-fire. A Pakistani military official said the civilian was killed by Indian shelling Tuesday night in Pakistani-administered Kashmir. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan on Wednesday stressed the need for more diplomacy to cool tensions on both sides.
