"Beyond Vietnam" speech (with text) by Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Following the example of Gandhi, who followed the example of Jesus Christ (the Buddhist monk Ven. Issa), Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered a speech opposing the U.S. War on Vietnam.
He thereby raised U.S. consciousness on the importance of withdrawing from that abysmal "conflict."
Dr. King mentions and discusses civil rights for all American people. "Beyond Vietnam" was delivered on April 4, 1967, exactly one year before his assassination by U.S. government operatives.
