Are Mexicans Native American? (video)

Are Mexicans Native American or North American (since they live in that part of the continent located above Central America and South America but labelled "Mesoamerica"?) The answer is that in Mexico they are referred to as Indigenas ("Indigenous") and as Indios ("American-Indians"). This video asks the question, investigates, and provides data to determine the answer.


Obie MontellanoObie Montellano says: I'm one of the few Mexican-Americans who had a 100% Native American father and grandparents who spoke the Native languages of Mexico. My grandmother only spoke Nahuatl and Zapotec. I'm very lucky and proud of my Indigenous bloodline.
