Cambridge-educated Brit Ajahn Brahm trained in the Thai Forest tradition of Ajahn Chah. He is now the spiritual director of the Buddhist Society of Western Australia. In this talk from a 9-day meditation retreat he conducted in 1997, Ajahn Brahm gives an introduction to letting go and experiencing jhana -- zen, "absorption," dhyana, ch'an, seon, thien -- in our meditation practices.
