LA’s first non-alcoholic vegan bar pops up in Yamashiro

A new non-alcoholic, plant-based bar dubbed SourTooth has opened in the re-imagined “Japanese Bohemian” wing of Hollywood’s Yamashiro Restaurant.

Those in search of a great non-alcoholic cocktail bar experience, complete with plant-based food items, will find it here.

Veg Out LA is a great read (vegoutla.com).
Based on the Pinnacle Potions line of modern shrubs and mixers, the cocktail menu features drinks such as craft mimosas using housemade orange-sage potions, gin and tonics using Seedlip non-alcoholic spirits, and the Japanese Tea Ceremony — a ceremonial-grade matcha and yuzu cocktail.

Guests will also have the option to add extras, such as adaptogens, nutraceuticals, and energizing supplements to their drinks.

The bar’s accompanying food menu, dubbed MeatTooth, features plant-based comfort foods, such as their next level “chick’n” sandwich, savory burgers, purple Japanese sweet potato balls, and much more.
