The great Graham Hancock is a British writer and journalist. In this recent interview, it is as if he is speaking for Wisdom Quarterly: American Buddhist Journal. The editorial board agrees with him and the interviewer.

Hancock specializes in unconventional theories involving our forbidden history: ancient civilizations, DMT, American mysticism (Amazonian ayahuasca), gods/devas, megaliths (stone monuments), enhanced states of consciousness, ancient myths, and astronomical/astrological data from the past.

One of the themes running through many of his books is a posited global connection with a "mother culture" from which all ancient historical civilizations sprang. "We are a species with amnesia," declares Hancock (Fingerprints of the Gods). We have been lied to and denied our history. It is our job to recover it and get to the truth.
