Time travel is real and practical: Our knowledge of anti-gravity drives varies from gossip to sufficient to reproduce. Let's take the cream of the crop of devices, explain how they work, and compare their mode of operation with known physics.

 

Free energy by overunity already invented

Several of the devices are dissimilar, but they disobey similar laws of physics. This suggests which laws of physics are on shaky ground. These devices are well documented in the public literature, but they violate durable laws of physics.

So we could build them, but we would not know why they work (under the commonly accepted paradigms of consensual public science; the real science of black budget science would have no problem understanding why and how they work, thus indicating they have better physics models they are not disclosing). We can also describe the budget and effort required to bring devices like this out of the literature and into interstellar space travel.
