(The Humanist Report) Nov. 21, 2023: TikTok users, particularly American teens, have turned Israel’s low-effort propaganda into hilarious parodies.

The overwhelmingly pro-Palestine sentiment on TikTok has led to hysterical allegations that the Chinese platform (TikTok is owned by China) is brainwashing young people into being anti-Israel. But they are already pro-Palestine; the platform is just how they are expressing it.

Some Republicans have renewed calls to ban TikTok recently over its “anti-Israel bias,” which is really anger that teens are hearing the truth for the first time and responding by criticizing Israel and American Zionist Jews.

This video debunks the idea that young people are being manipulated or brainwashed by TikTok. That's like trying to blame cellphones for teens communicating with one another. If they didn't have those darn phones, they'd all be silent?
