Hidden beneath [landlocked] Kentucky's rolling hills lies Mammoth Cave, the world's largest known cave system.

Recently, scientists made a jaw-dropping discovery that has rocked the scientific community -- fossils of two massive prehistoric sea creatures (ancient sharks).
These ancient marine predators, named Troglocladodus trimblei and Glikmanius careforum, reveal that parts of Kentucky were once covered by a vast ocean.
