Visiting the Masters of Wisdom in Shambhala

The Land of the Gods: The Long-Hidden Story of Visiting the Masters of Wisdom in Shambhala
(Sacred Wisdom Revived Book 1) This book by the co-founder of Theosophy, Madame Helena P. Blavatsky (with 4.5 stars out of 5 with 574 ratings), is Book 1 of 7: Sacred Wisdom Revived. It was a #1 best seller among New Age books.

Question: Elvis Presley and Oprah Winfrey, Mahatma Gandhi and the 14th Dalai Lama, Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla, Harry Potter and Star Wars, what do they have in common?

Answer: They have all been directly or indirectly influenced by psychic Madame Blavatsky — the trailblazing woman who indelibly shaped our world and changed the course of history, “being as much talked about as an emperor” (The Sun).

Now, Ukrainian-born Russian mystic Madame Helena Blavatsky returns with a long-hidden book. She took a vow of silence not to reveal during her lifetime the name of the place she had visited.
She cleverly hid her secret in plain sight by giving the story to another writer to claim as his own.

American Col. Olcott vowed to uphold Buddhism's Five Precepts and wrote A Buddhist Catechism, as he revived Theravada Buddhist practices in Sri Lanka in the late 1800s.
.
What long-lost, timeless wisdom did she conceal in her wonderful narrative? Immersive and engaging, this profound book provides readers with a unique outlook on the deeper side of life, exposing our true nature, interior powers, and ultimate destiny.

Precept motivation: Don't touch alcohol (video)

Ananda (Dharma Buddhist Meditation), Seth Auberon, Pfc. Sandoval (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Stop drinking alcohol now: one of the most eye-opening motivational videos ever

(MotivationHub) Summer 2023: No More Alcohol Motivation Playlist Countless people -- including Dr. Jordan Peterson, Theo Von, Dr. Andrew Huberman, Mike Thurston, Tom Bilyeu, Andrew Kim, and Chris Williamson -- explain why we need to not touch alcohol.

Do no harm. Stay away from drinking.
Never mind that the historical Buddha pointed out that, karmically, it is a fundamental basis of being reborn on the human plane. Buddhist practitioners, to be virtuous, keep the fifth of the Five Precepts. It circles back to all of them. What a person normally wouldn't do -- kill, steal, cheat, deceive -- one does on account of intoxication. Therefore, the Buddha realized the harm in drinking (or any intoxicant). An intoxicant that "occasions heedlessness" (not heeding the precepts) is a harmful act (deed) from which to abstain. One wouldn't kill, but driving drunk one might. One wouldn't steal, but being stoned one might. One wouldn't cheat on a partner, but being tipsy... One wouldn't deceive others, but if one could just tie one on afterward, one sure might. One wouldn't keep getting high, but being high, one sure might. In the famous Sigalovada Sutra, the "Advice to Lay People Discourse" or "The Householder's Code of Discipline," the Buddha states it very clearly and gives reasons why. He is not setting forth how he wishes people to behave. He is revealing what karma (deeds) brings what results. Seeing hidden danger and great harm in these five things (and more), the Buddha warns against them. We can pick and choose, rationalize and make excuses -- that won't make any difference. The universe is not "punishing" us with consequences. It is merely following a natural law regarding the causes and conditions that support the fruition (phala) of resultants (vipaka). The deeds are laid down in the mind, and it is the mind that will elicit the appropriate effects in the future when karma ripens. As we have planted many, many seeds in doing a deed, so we will reap many, many results from that one deed. For happiness and benefit for a long, long time, don't touch alcohol.
  • The fifth precept says avoid intoxicants (alcohol, drugs, etc.) [12, 13]. Early Buddhist Texts condemn alcohol, as do post-canonical Chinese Buddhist texts. More

FACTS: Drinking about 3.5 drinks a day doubles or even triples risk of developing cancer of the mouth, pharynx, larynx, and esophagus. Drinking about 3.5 drinks a day increases risk of developing colorectal cancer and breast cancer by 1.5 times. Even moderate alcohol consumption has been linked to an approximate 30 to 50 percent increased risk of breast cancer. The less alcohol one drinks, the lower one's cancer risk.

UFO ETs: They're HERE: Skinwalker Ranch

(Knewz) Newly released video evidence has emerged, appearing to show multiple unidentified flying objects (UFOs called vimanas in ancient Buddhist India) zooming over Skinwalker Ranch in Utah, a well-known paranormal hotspot, Knewz.com has learned.

The footage, which was captured and analyzed by a team of scientists searching for proof of space [or Hollow Earth] alien life, showcases the moment a small moving object transforms into a fleet of synchronized UFOs (unidentified aerial phenomena).

What's the TRUTH, Dr. Greer?

Among all the voices confusing the mainstream media, like Grusch, who is there to trust? We put our faith in ER Dr. Steven M. Greer, MD (siriusdisclosure.com). Why?

Dr. Greer has been a reliable source of factual information for decades.

ETs and UFOs are real, but we're being deceived.
He created the Disclosure Project, bringing former military officials to the DC Press Club to videotape them in public violating their secrecy oaths, whistle blowing what they know about black budget programs, working on reverse-engineering UFOs, downed crafts (that do not usually crash but are knocked out of the sky with advanced technology provided to our government by competing ETs already contacted).

The U.S. military-industrial complex craves ever more advanced technology, things to weaponize to control the planet, and physics knowledge beyond our outdated textbook theories. Dr. Greer is now on gaia.com and still making documentary features.

What has Dr. Greer done lately? The Lost Century documentary is currently available.

We're not alone. We never were. Unacknowledged by Dr. Steven M. Greer, MD
UFOs and ETs are REAL, so what's the "hoax"? Dr. Greer explains in The Cosmic Hoax
But if there were ETs, where are the bodies? Here's one. A whole movie was made about it.

Blue Super Moon: Buddhist Observance Day

CBS News;A. Ajasa, Wash Po, 8/29/23; Dhr. Seven, DK, Sheldon S. (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Blue super moon rises over capital of world, L.A., CA (artist's rendition with summer snow)

Buddhist Lunar Observance Day
Sky watchers wanting to see a "once in a blue moon" event should look up on Wednesday night.

The super blue moon spectacle that night will be the third-largest moon that has appeared to date this year — nearing the end of the four-part supermoon series.

Who knew that the phrase “once in a blue moon” had ties to real astronomy? It means "something that happens rarely" — like blue moons (a second full moon in the same month) gracing our skies. That's not so rare, but blue super moon is.

Watch live as it happens, too zoomed in with nothing for perspective
James Hubble Telescope sending first images
A super blue moon occurs when a second super moon rises in a single month. The last time a super blue moon appeared was Jan. 31, 2018, and the next won’t occur until Jan. 31, 2037, according to NASA Ambassador Tony Rice [who will be the same man to pretend to meet ETs for the first time when they decide to go public after a long and very drawn-out Disclosure Process.]

Disclosure w/ Dr. Greer, MD (gaia.com)
“Blue moons happen every two to three years. Supermoons happen several times per year. But those two concepts only intersect rarely,” Ambassador Rice said.

Before the spectacle begins, here’s everything one needs to know: When and where can to see the super blue moon?
  • Like every other night, look up to see the moon. It's that shiny round thing, that "wandering star."
  • On Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, it’ll be extra visible because it is a SUPER moon, which means it's closer and brighter.
  • Luckily for everyone, the show isn’t a location-dependent display, [though it does help to be on the surface rather than inside the Hollow Earth]. More

Buddhist Lunar Observance Day (uposatha)
An Uposatha Day is the lunar Buddhist Day of Observance, in existence since before the Buddha's time (600 BCE), being kept to this day by Buddhist practitioners.

The historical Shakyamuni ("Sage of the Scythians") Buddha taught that the Uposatha Day is for "the cleansing of the defiled mind/heart," resulting in inner calm and joy.

On this day, lay and monastic members of the spiritual community (Sangha) intensify their practice, deepen their knowledge, and express communal commitment through millennia-old acts of lay-monastic reciprocity.

On these days, lay Buddhists make a conscious effort to keep Eight Precepts or Ten (rather than the Five Precepts observed every other day of the year). It is a day for practicing the Buddha's Teaching, or Dharma, meditating, studying, hearing the Dharma, staying overnight at a temple or monastic complex.
How to observe the day
Why do Buddhists care what the moon is doing? It's Earth's calendar, marking Uposatha Days.
.
This is the universal Buddhist Flag
Depending on the culture and time period, Uposatha ("Sabbath") Days have been observed from two to six days each lunar month on a phase of the moon (quarter, half, three-quarter, and full moon days), about once a week in the Theravada tradition. More

Eight is a popular color like the Eightfold Path
The Eight Precepts (Pali aṭṭha-sīla or Sanskrit aṣhṭāṇga-śīla) are observed by lay Buddhists on observance days and festivals.
  1. I undertake [to observe] the rule to abstain from taking life.
  2. I undertake [to observe] the rule to abstain from taking what is not given.
  3. I undertake [to observe] the rule to abstain from unchastity.
  4. I undertake [to observe] the rule to abstain from false speech.
  5. I undertake [to observe] the rule to abstain from consuming intoxicants that occasion heedlessness.
  6. I undertake [to observe] the rule to abstain from taking food at the wrong time [before dawn or after noon].
  7. I undertake [to observe] the rule to abstain from dancing, music, visiting unsuitable shows, flower adornments, make up, the wearing of ornaments and beautifications.
  8. I undertake [to observe] the rule to abstain from tall, high beds and seats.
Coming to the pagoda at the temple complex
These include the five general precepts -- refraining from killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, perjury, intoxicants -- and three more specific ones. The Ten Precepts divides one of these into two and adds not handling money (gold and silver).

This tradition of keeping the Eight Precepts for observance days is still widely practice in all Theravada Buddhist countries and communities worldwide, as they follow the teachings of the historical Buddha.

This weekly observance is based on pre-Buddhist wandering ascetic (sāmaṇa, shramana) practices (Pali uposatha or posaha, Sanskrit upavasatha or poṣadha). In this context the vows are one-day precepts.

They are considered an excellent support for meditation (calm and insight) practices and are often observed when staying in monasteries or temples.

In some periods (such as retreats) and places (such as temples), the precepts were widely observed, as was the case in 7th–10th-century China by government officials [1].

In modern times, there have been revival movements and important political figures that have observed them continuously. More
