In the past red headed, six fingered giants were common here, but this stupa is massive.

It is a little known fact that Buddhism ("Awakenism") is extremely ancient, having been on this planet for kalpas (aeons) off and on. History and time are cyclical that way.

It is even less well known that modern Buddhism, the current dispensation (sasana), arrived in America centuries before European Christianity (Inglorious Columbus; Buddhist monks from Afghanistan discovered America in the 5th century, AD, Edward Vining, 1885) invaded in the form of imperial Spanish Roman Catholicism.

(WQ) But that's impossible -- until one realizes this planet is billions of years old, with many aeons having elapsed, such that some Southwest mesas and other rock formations are the base of ancient silica-based giant trees.
