Accused would-be Trump assassin Mr. Vem Miller is an investigative journalist, just like he claimed at the checkpoint. That checks out. He has a website to spread his sovereign citizen movement message, exposing government activities, conspiracies, and scary plans the U.S. government for the rest of us. He has a podcast called "Blood Money" (vemmiller.com/podcast) where he covers these topics and/or blows the whistle.
When will G-Joe get his own coin like Trump?
Sovereign citizens do not need a driver's license, car insurance, or state issued license plates, and the law is on their side. But the law is one thing and judges are another. Though the law is clear that they do not need these things, society (through judges) has sought to force them to do otherwise. Why not just change the law instead of having activist judges enforce laws that are not on the books? The system has to follow rules, and it only wants to follow the rules it's forced to follow. So sovereign citizens love their guns for the day when the government comes to try to take away their rights or land or property.
I'm cold, alone, and the ASPCA is going to kill me and call it a "euthanizing" favor. Save me.
Compton pit bull breeder mauled to death by his own dogs
(KTLA 5) LOS ANGELES, California - Feb. 16, 2024: A chaotic and gruesome scene unfolded in Compton (a ghetto in Los Angeles made famous by Snoop Dog, et. al.) Friday morning after a man who was breeding pit bulls (a similar breed) was mauled to death in his own backyard.
Get in my bag, Taylor, yer preggers!
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD), officials responded to the home on Thorson Ave., just south of Rosecrans Ave., around 7:00 am after a concerned friend visited the property and discovered the man’s mauled body.
"He was feeding the dogs at which point maybe there was an altercation between some of the dogs and [they] ultimately [turned on and] attacked and mauled the victim,” said Michael Gomez with LASD’s Homicide Bureau.
KTLA's Chris Wolfe reports on Feb. 16, 2024.
She's as blind as her beloved canine companion. Is it by chance or a life lesson?
.
It is popularly believed that karma (intentional action, deed, conduct) means "what comes around goes around." And by this logic, the dog breeder here must have made these impressionable pit bulls vicious, the better to sell them as tough guardians for self-protection.
One sees citizens of South-Central Los Angeles and other parts of the city, such as the Venice Beach Boardwalk, walking vicious looking pit bulls on heavy chains. It's a trope. It's the obverse of West Side females carrying chihuahuas or Shitsus in their purses.
I'll be waiting in the realm of ghosts, Master.
If he did raise them to be vicious killers and they viciously killed him, isn't that karma? It may be karma except for the fact that karma does not work itself out that quickly. Lennon's "Instant Karma" is rare.
What does seem to happen is that we repeat our habitual karma over many lives, and when those deeds catch up with us, ripen and comet to fruition in this life, it may be for something like the thing we're doing now. So people deduce that, "Aha! It must have been that thing he was doing now."
But, in fact, it could, it is much likelier to be something that being did long ago bearing its results. Be nice to animals. Don't eat them. But if you do, will it be a surprise that in the future they will eat you? Not pets, pets rarely eat us, but domesticated livestock when we are reborn on the animal plane, in ghost or hellish realms, or by some good fortune (based on some previous skillful deed) on the human plane again, or wild animals.
IDK Y. I'm driven to eat you alive until you die.
Animals are not here by accident. Animals are not ours to abuse or even to use. They have consciousness, thoughts, feelings, karmic lives, personalities, and futures. The entire section of the Dharma known as the "Rebirth Tales" or Jatakas illustrates how they think and feel, how karma (sowing deeds) bears fruit, how the working out of deeds and results is unimaginably complex but knowable in general terms. Killing humans is worse, particularly moral humans, but killing or inducing (paying butchers) others to kill is also very bad karma.
SUTRA: Let go, Doggy
The Buddha was a Karmavadin: he taught the importance of deeds (karma) and their results.
There's an amazing Buddhist story, a Jataka Tale, in which a stingy man passes away without having told his wife or eldest son where he buried his treasure. He's still clinging to it in his heart, for all the good money does him as a dog.
The son searches in vain for it because the family needs it to live when he's gone. It comes to pass that he meets the Bodhisattva (the Buddha-to-be), who asks him what the problem is.
The son explains and is advised to feed the dog well and watch where he chooses to go to nap then dig in that spot. He does and finds the stash, becoming a believer in the process:
There is rebirth, there are wise people who know this world and other worlds by their own knowledge-and-vision, there are results of karma (vipaka and phala), there is a life (an afterlife) to come, humans can be reborn as animals based on their actions in this life, and there is something higher to live for than ordinary concerns like making and clinging to worldly riches.
A search is underway for [the ambush shooter, while LA Sheriff Villanueva continues to deceive the public just as he did about the deputy abuse of a female reporter covering a protest at the hospital where two deputies shot in the face were taken; an armed carjacking suspect in Lynwood, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday.
A large presence of deputies was reported in the 3100 block of Carlin Avenue at about noon.
Residents in the surrounding homes were evacuated.
The Sheriff’s Department described the suspect as an adult male.
By 6:00 pm, video from Sky5 showed several sheriff’s deputies and vehicles in the area of the search. A robot was also seen pulling off the security door to an apartment, [a smaller robot entered the residence,] and a drone was also seen flying through the front door.
No other information was released.
When asked by KTLA if the search was at all related to the recent ambush shooting of two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies in Compton, Sheriff Alex Villanueva said it was not [perhaps "trying to avoid panic" or giving the truth away like Trump attempting to cover for previous lies he told Woodward on tape about his COVID-19 cover up. Like Trump. he can hardly start telling the truth now].
“That is an active search of a carjacking suspect from the end of a pursuit,” Villanueva said. Source
Reporter Josie Huang's account of her arrest by LA County Sheriff's deputies
KPCC.org/LAist.com reporter Josie Huang was arrested by L.A. County Sheriff's deputies Saturday night while covering the shooting of two deputies in Compton. Here is what happened, in her own words: I was put in the back of a patrol car -- the start of some 5 hours in LASD custody that began with the deputy refusing to uncuff me so I could put my face covering back on, telling me I just had a “scrape” when I was bleeding from my foot and not giving me back a shoe. After my phone drops, it keeps recording and it captures two deputies damaging my phone by kicking and stepping on it. I can hear myself in the background shouting: “You guys are hurting me” and “Stop it.” It feels very out-of-body to play this back. More

Excessive force is now commonplace among Los Angeles Sheriff's Department deputies, as it has long been among the notorious LAPD troops, who act like an occupying force rather than civilian officers. Here five LASD deputies mount and beat frail Asian female reporter from KPCC FM (local NPR)/LAist.comJosie Huang. Bryan Suits points out the obvious that our paramilitary police force purposely fails to mention -- that this is a child doing the shooting, so short he has to look up to the passenger window and runs like a London urchin in short pants.

Police instead go tactical bringing out military weapons, their CAPO (Crimes Against Police Officers) unit, massive overtime for the force creating a dragnet to fruitlessly search all of Compton, Los Angeles to say they did something in response. Meanwhile, 911 calls for help are not being attended to, and the whole city is led to think a potentially Black gun-man is out on the loose justifying any police shootings for the next few weeks. Officers can simply say, "We thought it might be the shooter and can't take any chances after this 'ambush'!"
More video shows bloody female officer shot in the jaw attend to young male officer's wounds.
GARDENA, Los Angeles - Peaceful demonstrators gathered in the street in front of an auto body shop where police killed (possibly murdered) 18-year-old Andres Guardado at work on Thursday. Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies shot him to death for no apparent reason other than they were afraid as they pulled up on him working as the security guard for the body shop.
Deputies claim they thought they saw the security guard carrying a gun, and being Latino in possession of any shiny object seemed reason enough for them to open fire as he ran for his life. He is now dead, and the family and community are very upset. This is likely to become the site of more demonstrations this weekend bringing attention to police abuses in Los Angeles. More
LANCASTER, Los Angeles County - A black man's house was broken into by police, who then shot him to death. The name of the shooter was not released to protect him. This intentional killing was committed by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies in Lancaster early Thursday morning.
The black man, Michael Thomas, 62, was shot on purpose in his own living room after sheriff's deputies responded to unfounded reports of a domestic altercation inside the home between Thomas and his hard of hearing fiancé. According to the deputies with blood on their hands, Mr. Thomas came to the door but refused to comply with their demands.
Why would anyone think sheriffs are "racist"?
“I heard [the deceased victim] Michael say, ‘I have a right to not let you in my house,'” said his partially deaf fiancé, Kimberly Smith. Her story differs from deputies’ telling of what happened next. He was only turning away from them, she explains. The LA Sheriff’s Department, speaking for the killers, says the deputies struggled with Mr. Thomas for no apparent reason and then claim he was reaching down.
One deputy claims to have interpreted that this meant Mr. Thomas was going to try to take one of their guns, leaving the deputy open to execute the black man and claim the homicide was permissible, or at least the sort of police-involved shooting that the deceased cannot contest so the officer's word is taken as all the evidence needed to close the case without ever filing criminal charges that might deter these incidents. The county will have to pay out a considerable civil fine to make it all go away in spite of all the recent protests against this very excessive force policing. More

"Karens" are entitled and racist white women
She was unleashing a racist tirade towards an Asian woman, who was exercising on concrete stairs in Torrance this week. The Amy Cooper-style confrontation took place just after 9:00 am Wednesday at Wilson Park in Torrance, according to a Facebook post that included three videos. One 34-second video shows the white woman going up and down the stairs in close proximity to a younger non-white woman using the stairs to exercise. More
KKK lynching of young black man over a "racist message" in front of City Hall in Palmdale?
.
PALMDALE - Robert Fuller, 20-something, was found hanged in front of City Hall. The young black man was fully dressed and dead dangling from a rope and a branch. Police are quickly claiming it was "suicide," claiming there were no additional wounds to prove otherwise. The oddity of his death, the strange location, the recent national uprising, the racist history of Palmdale somehow did not figure into their short "investigation." However, who can believe murderous police or their stenographers the mainstream media? Here's the story from NewsOne.com.
An Orange County sheriff’s deputy wore extremist group patches on his uniform at a protest for the murder of George Floyd by the racist police of Minneapolis. The unidentified O.C. sheriff's deputy is under investigation for wearing those patches.

They are connected with racist extremist groups on his official paramilitary uniform during a protest in Costa Mesa over the racist policing.
O.C. Sheriff Don Barnes launched the internal investigation -- police policing themselves and keeping the results quiet -- into the deputy, who was seen in photos and videos sporting a "Don't Tread On Me" flag (of the Culpeper Minutemen?) and far right Oath Keepers' patch on [slave] patrol in Costa Mesa yesterday.
