(Atomic Video Jukebox, 5/10/21) Wasted Youth performs "Problem Child" back in the day of LA's punk rock scene. We first heard Wasted Youth on Rodney Bingenheimer's KROQ FM show "Rodney on the ROQ" in 1981 and immediately went out and bought their album, Reagan's In, and wore it out over time.

We first saw them in early 1982 at the Hollywood Palladium when they played with TSOL, Adolescents, Social Distortion, Youth Brigade, and others. It was an amazing show with lots of stage diving before venues banned that. AVJ made this video from live footage of the band as well as post gig footage at Oki Dogs in LA all shot by Dave Markey.

The footage is married with digital audio from the album. David Markey, the drummer of Sin 34, was very ambitious and always carried a movie camera and reels film with him back then. From the footage he shot, he made some short films and the punkumentary The SLOG Movie featuring a number of SoCal bands including his own Sin 34. This video uses his footage shot for the slog movie.
