Can non-Indians enjoy it, too?
Seasons change, Anicca reigns; it is the way of Samsara. That will be our new saying. What does it mean? "Weather alters, impermanence in all things; that's how it goes in this incessant Cycle." But at least on the Island of California, it's not so bad. We get a reprieve before fall starts in earnest. And it's called "Indian summer." Berkeley, one of the greatest places on the planet, got hit by an earthquake to wake everyone up and keep them agitating for positive change. We know things are changing because Christmas Tree Lane lights are going up in post-Eaton Fire Altadena, a Los Angeles custom.
Berkeley gets a wakeup call
Indian summer
Native Americans enter a Quaker Friends meeting and find them quite nice and peaceful.
An Indian summer is a period of unseasonably warm and dry weather that sometimes occurs in autumn in temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. Several sources describe a true Indian summer as not occurring until after the first frost, or more specifically the first "killing frost" [1][2][3].
The late 19th-century lexicographer Albert Matthews made an exhaustive search of early American literature in an attempt to discover who coined the expression [4]. The earliest reference he found dated to 1851. He also found the phrase in a letter written in England in 1778 but discounted that as a coincidental use of the phrase.
Later research showed that the earliest known reference to "Indian summer" in its current sense occurs in an essay written in the United States around 1778 by J. Hector St. John de Crevecœur, describing the character of autumn and implying the common usage of the expression:
Great rains at last replenish the springs, the brooks, the swamp and impregnate the earth. Then a severe frost succeeds which prepares it to receive the voluminous coat of snow which is soon to follow; though it is often preceded by a short interval of smoke and mildness, called the Indian Summer. This is in general the invariable rule: winter is not said properly to begin until those few moderate days & the raising of the water has announced it to Man.
The essay was first published in French around 1788 and remained unavailable in the United States until the 1920s [5].
Although the exact origins of the term are uncertain [6], it was perhaps so-called
because it was first noted in regions inhabited by Native Americans,
or because the natives first described it to Europeans [7],
or it had been based on the warm and hazy conditions in autumn when Native Americans hunted [6].
John James Audubon wrote about "The Indian Summer that extraordinary phenomenon of North America" in his journal on Nov. 20, 1820. He mentions the "constant Smoky atmosphere" and how the smoke irritates his eyes.
Audubon suspects that the condition of the air was caused by "Indians, firing the Prairies of the West." Audubon also mentions in many other places in his writings the reliance Native Americans had on fire. At no point does Audubon relate an Indian summer to warm temperatures during the cold seasons. Fall, of course, is a season; every fall is heralded by the autumnal equinox. But The Fall is something else. We can look at fascists in the White House, the Department of War, the Senate, Congress, and police departments across the nation for that sort of toppling or the coming down of the things we all loved and cherished as our birthright under a Constitution.
So long, Cruel Cruel Summer!
But the present administration, like administrations before it on both sides of the aisle, doesn't seem to care about the writing of the Forefathers at the birth of the nation. One is reminded of Hamilton, now out in a three-hour extravaganza of rap, choreographed dancing, and dueling. What is a good example of a Fall that falls upon us like an Indian summer, maybe driving along happily and without a care along PCH. Then BAM! Crash. Eyes covered with a sheet. Coroner's office...more Samsara.
(Megaprojects) March 4th, 2024: Let's unlock the secrets of fungal computing to discover the mind-boggling potential of fungi as living computers. From the Wood Wide Web to the Unconventional Computing Lab, witness the evolution of mushroom technology. A "mushroom" is the fruiting body of a much larger network called the mycelia[the world's first Internet], the matted undergrowth of connections in forest and field. It was the earth's first communication network of hyphae, the mycorrhiza (CMN) or symbiotic relationship between fungi and green plants. That mushrooms would serve as entheogens (substances capable of manifesting the divine within) for humans and animals is an amazing coincidence. Or is it a correspondence to something, as one of our earliest human ancestors?

A new research study has come out claiming that to explain the massive galaxies found at huge distances in James Webb Space Telescope images, the universe is older than we think, at 26.7 billion years (rather than 13.8 billion years old).

👩🏽💻 ABOUT: I'm Dr. Becky Smethurst, an astrophysicist at the University of Oxford (Christ Church). I love making videos about science with an unnatural level of enthusiasm. I like to focus on how we know things, not just what we know [epistemology], especially the things we still don't know. If you've ever wondered about something in space and couldn't find an answer online, ask me. My day job is to do research into how supermassive black holes can affect the galaxies that they live in. In particular, I look at whether the energy output from the disk of material orbiting around a growing supermassive black hole can stop a galaxy from forming stars.

(21 June 2023) A seemingly curious alliance of Druids, pagans, neopagans, hippies, local residents, tourists, and costumed witches and wizards are gathering around a [restored] prehistoric stone circle on a plain in Southern England to express their devotion to the sun (Surya, Sol) and to have some communal fun (Tian Macleod Ji).
For one night only! Meet C/2022 E3. (Her friends call her the green comet for short).
Who is she? She's a potentially unprecedented celestial happening.
So trade in the typical evening blue light (screen) for some green light (real thinga0 instead. It's a connection to history and the galaxy that won't try to sell us anything.
C/2022 E3 is a comet marked by its bright green nucleus and long faint ion tail.
It was discovered in March 2022 and has been visible by telescope. But tonight, the comet is poised to be most visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere as it passes by.
This could be the first time ever (or at the very least in thousands of years) that the comet will cross paths with our earth. And we get to watch!
Here’s a first effort at capturing the “Green Comet,” Comet c/2022 E3 (ZTF). This was a particular challenge due to humid conditions and clouds, but I’m thrilled I was able to capture it at all! pic.twitter.com/t2VGEnfKX8

What's the big deal? We know very little about C/2022 E3, but it appears that its long orbit takes it from the outer expanses of the solar system and then in towards the sun, according to The Planetary Society. More
When is the winter solstice? In 2022, the date of the winter solstice is Wednesday, Dec. 21st. What is the winter solstice, and why does it happen?
It's either the shortest day of the year or the longest night, right? No, it's both. Learn all about the shortest day of the year — and tell The Old Farmers' Almanac what winter means.
When is the winter solstice?
The first day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere is marked by the winter solstice, which occurs on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at 4:48 PM EST.
England's Stonehenge, like Africa's Adam's Calendar, marks astrological dates and seasons.

.
For the northern half of Earth (the Northern Hemisphere), the winter solstice occurs every year on Dec. 21 or 22. (For the Southern Hemisphere, the winter solstice occurs on June 20 or 21).
The winter solstice is the day with the fewest hours of sunlight during the whole year, making it the “shortest day” of the year. Conversely, it's the longest night of the year.
Thankfully, after we reach the winter solstice, the days begin to once again grow longer and longer until we reach the summer solstice — the first day of summer and the longest day of the year.
Think of it this way: Although the winter solstice means the start of winter, it also means the return of more sunlight. It only gets brighter from here on it (until the cycle repeats)!
[It was therefore a key day for astrotheology, the day of the birth of an important religious figure who will return, a kind of Maitreya or Messiah. See Jordan Maxwell for more on this historical phenomenon that has given many religions their power and influence over the millennia. For example, Jesus is not the "reason for the season" and was not born on Christmas or Christ's Mass. The Bible reveals he was born much earlier in the year when the animals were out to pasture. But the Church needed to appropriate a popular winter holiday to brighten the year and make it their own to promote the imperial state religion. Researcher Eric Dubay has a better alternative explanation for the facts as to what causes the solstices and equinoxes on the plane of the earth described by most of the religions of the world. But it is so controversial that he is banned and dismissed out of hand.]

David Wilcock (2012) was, in a past life, America's "Sleeping Prophet," Edgar Cayce (1910)

What will you do? At least help yourself -- and by "helping yourself" is not meant selfishness. That's no help to anyone, not even you.
Should we stop the planet's revolution so you can get off?
Enlightened self-interest is the philosophy that says help others so that you too can benefit. We provide a social safety net so the dispossessed do not fall into poverty, crime, and squalor. That net helps everyone. Letting others preach their religion increases the chance that you will preach yours. Shutting others up leads to disaster, as it has so many times in history.
The Dharma, the timeless truth, is everywhere. You can find it anywhere.
Do something. Look for it. Look for truth. This life is a quest. Have you set off on the journey or simply sat at home? Maybe the Buddha does not suit you. Maybe the real Jesus (before the Romans and Republicans made him a bumper sticker) has the answers you seek, maybe Mary, maybe Lao Tzu (Taoism), maybe Mahavira, maybe Lilith, maybe Kwan Yin, maybe the Mo's (Moses and the more famous one)... maybe independent Paganism, maybe science, maybe the God Molecule (DMT or an activated pineal gland), maybe atheism? After all, religion seems to have done more harm than good.
Religion is a cheap substitute for spirituality.
See you at the occupation. You'll be there either way. The only question is: Will you be standing behind the police or the people? Either way, we're all one.
No one needs to answer for your inaction, which everyone will suffer from, but you. Won't you be benefiting from others' sacrifices? Nice! Get ahead on the backs of others, and never look back. In the movie "A Fish Called Wanda," one of the Wanda's tells off Otto by pointing out: "The central message of Buddhism is not 'Every man for himself'!" Roll the clip.
Wanda: Now, was that smart? Was it shrewd? Was it good tactics? Or was it stupid? Otto: Don't call me stupid! Wanda: Oh, right! To call you stupid would be an insult to stupid people! I've known sheep that could outwit you. I've worn dresses with higher IQs. But you think you're an intellectual, don't you, ape? Otto: Apes don't read philosophy. Wanda: Yes they do, Otto. They just don't understand it! Now let me correct you on a couple of things, okay? Aristotle was not Belgian. The central message of Buddhism is not "Every man for himself." And the London Underground is not a political movement. Those are all mistakes, Otto. I looked them up.
David Wilcock (Edgar Cayce) Project Camelot series
This interview with David Wilcock redirects us to focus on the future of the planet in the few years leading up to 2012. As the self-professed reincarnation of Edgar Cayce, Wilcock is a good person to start with. He is approached less in the traditional interview mode and more with the stance that all Camelot had to do was place a camera in front of him and the rest would take care of itself. And so it happened.
Wilcock is extremely well read, eloquent, and dynamic. He was therefore able to hit the ground running. He launches into a saga of his own spiritual journey of self-discovery, how he came to the realization of one of his past lives as Edgar Cayce, his meetings with members of the Black Ops community and ultimate introduction into the world of the Illuminati, his exposure to the Law of One, the Ra material, and his scientific investigations.
Incorporating his own considerable channeling abilities into a vast and lucid review of the scientific basis for the coming changes surrounding 2012, this interview raises many questions and provokes a great deal of thought. To his credit, in this lifetime, Wilcock has duly recognized the areas where his prior manifestation required growth. And he has set about rectifying these areas with a frank self-appraisal in the spirit of truth seeking. While he has not lost his former channeling ability, in this lifetime he has complimented that skill with a solid grounding in science.
He is currently working with Richard Hoagland on an investigation into the planetary changes surrounding 2012. He is the co-author of an extremely important and well researched article found on Hoagland's website entitled "The Interplanetary Day After Tomorrow," recommended reading for all. In presenting this material, Project Camelot recognizes that some of the material is contentious. So everyone is encouraged to consider its conclusions in the spirit of open inquiry of an ongoing investigation into the mystery surrounding 2012.
