It's easy to think no Jews are religious about it. It's largely a secular identity, a cultural inheritance, a brand identity, a Zionist outlook, a victim card status, a self-identified choice, a diet, a bid for Tay-Sachs and other incestuous disease states, even a race to some with subraces (like impure-nonwhites the dreaded Mizrahi, Latin Sephardi, and outcaste Ethiopian and Meshuchrarim). Mostly, today, Judaism is just AshkenaziEuropeans clinging to a story, a narrative, a justification for being God's chosen people and the smartest in the world, with completely-unbiased IQs to prove it.
So who are the Hasidim? There are Orthodox Jews, and then there are Ultra-Orthodox Jews. There are the good guys like Neturei Karta (nkusa.org) and weird tunnel builders in Jesse Jackson's Hymie Town, aka Brooklyn (New York City synagogue tunnel incident), home of the beloved JuBu Beastie Boys, engaging in white slavery, patriarchy, sodomy, rape, abductions, kidnapping, Epstein-style sex trafficking, who knows for sure?
Meta's Zuckerberg will not stand for free speech
There's a lot of hanky-panky in the illegal shafts and caverns dug out for unknown purposes. There are many accusations, but the community is so well connected, rich, and powerful that police fear to investigate too closely for fear of being labelled "antisemitic" or biased. They will reluctantly look the other way or file reports that go nowhere because higher-ups know better than ruffle the feathers of a very litigious donor class. Then there's the whole Chabad (Habad)-Lubavitch movement and that Jewish welfare town in New York.
Hasidism (Hebrew ืืกืืืืช, Romanized แธคฤsฤซdลซt) or Hasidic Judaism is a religious movement within Judaism that arose in the 18th century as a spiritual revival movement in contemporary Western Ukraine before spreading rapidly throughout Eastern Europe. Today, most in the movement, known as Hassidim, reside in the Zionist ethnostate of Israel and its servant state the USA, and to a lesser extent in Canada, the UK, German Argentina, and Belgium.
I vow to Make Israel Great Again (MIGA)
Israel Ben Eliezer, the "Baal Shem Tov," is regarded as its founding father, and the Patriarch's disciples disseminated it. Today's Hasidism is a sub-group within Haredi Judaism and is noted for its religious conservatism and social seclusion. Its members aim to adhere closely both to Orthodox Jewish practice – with the movement's own unique emphases – and the prewar lifestyle of Eastern European Jews.
Many elements of the latter, including various special styles of dress and the use of the Yiddishlanguage, are nowadays associated almost exclusively with Hasidism. Hasidic thought draws heavily on LurianicKabbalah and, to an extent, is a popularization of it. Teachings emphasize their tribal God's immanence in this universe... More
(ABC7 News) Los Angeles is a former city in the country of Mexico, like so much of what is now the Southwestern United States of America, so we love Mexico's win! Mexico's actual name is not Mexico but the United Mexican States (Estados Unidos Mexicanos), and it seems we the USA stole the name from them. The U.S. may one day have to become the United American States or "West England" or "European Colony 14" or revert to its original name "Columbia" after the titular goddess (and before old Uncle Sam shoved her aside for the patriarchy's propaganda war campaign), as in "District of Columbia" for its capital (which is technically outside the country) Washington, D.C.
In the 1960s, sex researchers Masters and Johnson declared the end of the fake orgasm. Nearly two decades later, in 1982, evangelical activist Tim LaHaye foretold that the entire pornography industry would soon be driven out of business.
Neither prediction proved true. Instead, with the rise of the internet, pornography saturates the American conscience more than ever and has reshaped our understanding of sexuality, relationships, media, and even the nature of addiction.
American sociologist Dr. Kelsy Burke has spent the last five years researching and interviewing internet pornography's opponents and its sympathizers.
In The Pornography Wars, Prof. Burke does a deep dive into the long history of pornography in America and then turns her gaze on our present society to examine the ways this industry touches on the most intimate parts of American lives.
She offers a complete understanding of the major players in the debates around porn's place in society: everyone from sex workers, activists, therapists, religious leaders, and consumers.
In doing so, she addresses and debunks the myths that surround porn and porn usage while showing how everything from the way we teach children about sex to the legal protections for what can be published is tied up in the deeply complicated battles over pornography.
Sweeping, savvy, and deeply researched, The Pornography Wars is a necessary and comprehensive new look at pornography and American life. More

In the future, Zionists will claim ALL of this land
(Reason2Resist with Dimitri Lascaris) Dimitri Lascaris travels to Cyprus to investigate reports in the Israeli and Cypriot media that Israelis have been "flooding" into Cyprus and "buying anything in sight." In the course of his investigation, Lascaris visited resorts and other businesses that quietly cater to an affluent European (Ashkenazi) Israeli clientele.
Lascaris also examines the little-discussed fact that the earliest Zionists [European white Jewish supremacists looking for a land to occupy and create a settler colonial project as they learned from Western imperial soldiers had done around the world] viewed Cyprus as a stepping-stone to the colonization [and complete takeover] of Palestine [after killing and expelling its people, a people they deny ever existed, a people called "Palestinians"].
(The Ask Project) Will you consider leaving as Iran is retaliating?
We can live safely in Russia's Far East?
SECRET: Israelis and Zionists have bombed and terrorized Jews in other countries to drive them to relocate to the rogue "state" of Israel to be "safe" by perpetuating their self-described "settler colonial project." It worked to terrify Jews and make them believe they have nowhere else to go, so there is no abandoning the project until all the inhabitants of this land are exterminated and it is turned into a secular place that uses religion only when it's convenient to prop up Jewish supremacist views with both explicit and implicit bias.
As Jews in a murderous state, we reject our OTHER homeland the JAO or Jewish Autonomous Oblast (so don't let it get out that that place exists and has existed for almost a century as an option). The mentality of Jewish supremacy is real.
Long ago there used to be a writer calling herself "Dukkha Girl." She disappeared, came back, then faded away again. We loved her. Where is she today? One can only imagine a fate of suburban motherhood for her, or a rural life with cats, but maybe, just maybe, she became a nun, forsaking the lower life of a householder for the exalted life of one striving for the ultimate goal. Who knows?
We're sure she'll eventually be in touch and tell us. In the meantime, there's an attention [solicitor] we can imagine in the role, now that she's been excluded, branded a total "poser," and banned. It's gotten so bad, she lost her business.
Oh, beloved vegan yogini with such a penchant for makeup and marriage, what will become of her? She was at Cali Vibes scrouging up influencer-sponsorships to become the next MrsBeast, getting up early for yoga, and eating lots of Cena Vegan and other treats. Now that she brought her spikey hair down, no one recognizes or pays much attention to her. And that has to be galling because, bowling or not, is she not the MOST punk rock girl in the world...was? Oh, Erin, will you never learn? For all anyone knows, she could be a girl genius like this candid camera clip.
Happy? Miserable? Opinionated? Apply to be the new Dukkha Girl
Help wanted. Inquire within (in the Comments)
No one imagines Erin could be a reliable correspondent for the despondent, a reporter of all that is dukkha in life. But someone can. Why not you? Are you drawn to Daria, to snarky comments mumbled under your breath, wishing to get your message to millions. Yes, Wisdom Quarterly has millions of views. Look it up.
There are so many voices that need to be heard.
Great writing skills not a prerequisite, nor is knowledge of philosophy or religion, just opinions. Remember that episode of Family Guy when Peter got a job at the local news station for a weekly segment "What Really Grinds My Gears"? Like that. Do that. Opine. We'll edit and punch it up, make it relevant to the true extent of dukkha.

In the Kalama or Kesamutti Sutta, we find the Buddha explaining to the Kalama people NOT to believe, not to trust in tradition or texts, but to question, to go against the stream of the world, inviting them to come see for themselves. This path, the Dharma of Awakening, invites investigation. It is for the wise, those wishing to see for themselves without relying on anyone else to say how reality is or is not. The Buddha, the Awakened One, pointed out the path of knowing-and-seeing for oneself. All of this is very much in line with punk rock, the original impetus for a movement that went against all the BS and the music industry's profit-motive. It was rugged, real, and about personal experience and self-realization, not "going along to get along," not blind faith, not complicity with a religion. Buddhism in many ways is not a religion. It has become one, it gets treated as one, but that is not what the Buddha was talking about. There is a path-of-practice that leads to freedom, liberation, an end to all rebirth and suffering. Most people will not see it, not let go, not give up the lesser good in hand for a higher good yet to be attained. What did the Buddha say? Going Along with the Stream
[Asperger's Syndrome] Elon Musk appeared to extend an olive branch to [Would-be King and likely Epstein Island-visiting child molester] Donald Trump in a social media post over the LA protests, fueling speculation that they could be soon "back together."
The tech billionaire's gay "bromance" [on his way to being a trillionaire] with Donna came to a fiery end last week in an ugly online spat between the pair on Thursday after several days where Musk had been criticizing the US government over the president's "big beautiful bill" [which actually an "abomination" according to Musk].
[Musk can't afford to lose all those U.S. government contracts that made him the richest man on the planet, just behind fellow AfricanMansa Musa and perhaps a few others who secretly hold their wealth in ways that prevent them from getting credit for it by curious bean counters, like multibillionaire heads of state and dictators, to say nothing of hedge fund managers and professional blackmailers like Epstein and Diddy].
Trump threatened to cut Musk’s government contracts and the tech billionaire claimed that US government hasn’t released all the records related to sex abuser trafficker Jeffrey Epstein because Trump is mentioned in them.
Thoughts of sensuality (craving for pleasures of the five senses) oppress the person beset by them again and again, becoming an obsession and compulsion. What's worse, getting what one craves does NOT solve the problem: Wanting is still there or soon comes back. Getting was no solution at all. Repeatedly getting in fact leads to addiction, a worse compulsion that sees no way out of the quagmire. (Giggity).
When the goal of the mind-body is just pleasure and more of it, the trap begins to become clear. But what other goal might one set for oneself? Liberation from disappointment and all suffering (dukkha). That goal is nirvana, realized by enlightenment (bodhi). But how?
That is what a Buddha answers, having exposed the problem, he claimed there is a cause (craving accompanied by aversion, both rooted in delusion) to our disappointment/suffering. There's a final solution, too. The fourth ennobling (enlightening) truth is that there is a path, a middle way, to the solution.
That might be a better goal, something else to fixate on and strive for, relaxing into it until the illusion dissolves and ultimate-reality becomes clear. Until then, what's a person to do but take Jerri Blank's advice to herself, "Don't think about sex, don't think about sex, don't think about sex," which will be about as useful as saying, "Don't think about pink elephants."
Did you just think of pink elephants? Didn't we just say not to think of pink elephants. Why do we keep saying "pink elephants," which only makes us think of pink elephants... Don't think about sex. Oops! We just said...
(It doesn't work to try to not think about what you're thinking about; it does work to think about something else and keep thinking that other thing).
Our life is easier when we let go and let the Universe take control
(Solace Fox) Ever notice that when we stop trying to control every detail, life actually becomes easier? Most people resist letting go, but surrendering to the Universe can unlock surprising peace, clarity, synchronicity, and effortless living.
In this video, discover the power of trusting the Universe, releasing control, and letting life naturally unfold [in accordance with the results of our past deeds, our karma]. Letting go isn't weakness — it's wisdom. Watch until the end to understand exactly how to allow the Universe to work for us.
Mindfulness means dispassionate observation for clarity rather than involvement, bias, fear.
.
It is good to let go, and we may all know it on some level. But how to do it, that is the question. The Buddha advocated the supreme importance of renunciation (nekkhamma), internal letting go. We do not all need to become monastics, hermits, or recluses, but we all need to unclutch, get a little distance and perspective, and stop being so clingy. Easier said than done. How to do?
There is a way: mindfulness. What is mindfulness? It is bare awareness, vigilance, watchfulness of what is really there, without evaluation, without embellishment, without distortion, without making stories or relating to what we are seeing.
Real mindfulness is only possible with calm and serenity, as happens as the natural result of the meditative absorptions. When we can pay that much mindful attention, things reveal themselves. They are nothing to cling to, nothing to be attached to. We can "let go" all we want with our brains/minds, but that will never do. The heart has to let go. When we see things as they really are, there is no need to make an effort to let go. The letting go happens naturally. "Clear seeing" is called vipassana in Buddhism, usually translated as "insight meditation" (satipatthana). It is a systematic practice of emerging from the absorption, temporarily purified, and attending to four things one after the other: body, feelings, mind, and mind-objects. They++ are all explained in the Maha Satipatthana Sutta or the "Fourfold Setting Up of Mindfulness Discourse."
So letting go is possible, but it will never happen by itself. The mind/heart in its present condition distorts and perverts everything until things seem permanent, capable of fulfilling/satisfying us, and personal. When we see them for what they really are (impermanent, disappointing, and impersonal), the heart lets go as when a feather fall into a fire and curls bac. The Truth will set us free...if we ever bother to clean the lens of the mind to see things, even for a moment, as they truly are. Otherwise, we're just believing and disbelieving and never really making any progress.
