I'll name you Devin or Woody!
Choosing a baby name is tricky. There are thousands upon thousands to choose from, and it's tough to find the right balance between uniqueness and tradition.

If you're a nature lover, botanical baby names are a great theme to go with. There are a ton to choose from, including classics like Daisy and Rosie, to less common options, like Clover or Forrest [except Tom Hanks ruined that one].

While many botanical baby names are for girls, plant-themed baby names are popular for boys, too. Not all of these choices come from the names of flowers. Many are from trees, herbs, shrubs, or entire habitats.

Garden-themed baby names are rising in popularity these days. The trend likely has something to do with how much younger generations care about nature and the environment.

Some botanical baby names are very quirky and fun, which also makes them appeal to younger parents. Here are 22 cute and trendy botanical baby names along with their meanings. More

Tree spirits take human rebirth
Let's say you have to have a kid, you know, because you're tired of being an anti-natalist like you always swore you were. Well, then, what's a good choice to name it?

Let it name itself, of course! Kids come prepackaged with personality traits, pernicious tendencies, and a boatload of karma. They'll surely want to have a say in the matter. A name profoundly affects us our whole lives.

So we were thinking we might want a strawberry blond Irish-Mexican deva beauty and call the child Rowan Rue or Savannah Sylvan, maybe Juniper or Sierra Berry. Eh. We'll keep looking, consult a psychic, or toss Scrabble pieces in the air.

It came to me in a dream, the perfect name, Siobhan  Eve (or Ivy) Xochitl, but what would we call her/him around the house?
